I believe the moments that make up our days deserve to be captured—not just to sit unopened on your phone, but to find a home on your walls, in your albums, and in the scrapbooks you’ll one day hand down.
I’m a family photographer based on Central Vancouver Island with a timeless, documentary-inspired style. My approach prioritizes presence + genuine connection over staged poses, meaning sessions are laidback, have room for spontaneity, and showcase your actual, real life.
The result: nostalgic, imperfect images + home videos that you’ll look back on one day and think: “yup, that was us and looks exactly like how that chapter felt.”

I’m Riley, and I became obsessed with taking photos after my first daughter was born; it felt like a way to pause time, document every expression on her baby face, and slow down. My interest in photography grew in stolen moments before becoming a full-fledged passion.
